Day 1 of 11
ARRIVE ZAGREB

Flight to Zagreb Airport. Welcome to Zagreb! You will be driven by private transfer to the Zagreb’s iconic hotel Esplanade. Please feel free to refresh and relax or take a stroll. Welcome dinner at your hotel. (D)

ZAGREB in the morning, TRAKOŠĆAN in the afternoon

Enjoy breakfast at leisure. Croatia’s capital is one of Europe’s best kept secrets. Today you will have a private guided tour of Zagreb, enjoy seeing some of the highlights of Zagreb which was founded in year 1094. Our walking tour starts from Zagreb’s main square Ban Jelačić Square and continues with the visit of two historic parts of old town – Kaptol and Gradec. On Kaptol we will visit the biggest Cathedral in Croatia and the famous farmer’s market Dolac. Our journey takes us to Gradec, better known as Zagreb’s Upper Town and we will enter it through medieval Stone Gate. You will have a chance to see the seat of the country’s administration, Parliament and Government Buildings, as well as St. Mark’s Church. Its coloured roof is the symbol of Zagreb. Our walk continues to Lotrščak tower and ends at Ban Jelačić Square. There is an option to use Zagreb’s Funicular, one of the shortest in Europe. Free time for refreshments or lunch. The afternoon tour takes you to the Trakošćan castle, one of the most famous of all Zagorje castles. The castle is located in northern Croatia and one of the most visited. Once it was a residential castle, now a museum surrounded by a forest park with a lake. The castle has a rich collection of paintings and prints, photographs, books and weaponry. Return to Zagreb in the evening after a traditional dinner.

ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES - ZADAR

Enjoy breakfast before departing for a scenic drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Your journey time is approximately 2.5 hours. Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest in Croatia. In 1979, National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide. The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades and 16 lakes can be seen from the surface. These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The lakes are all interconnected and follow the water flow. A private guided tour of Plitvice Lakes, followed by a lunch. Continue to Zadar. On arrival on Punta Skala peninsula, your accommodation is at the stunning Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera. Refresh and relax.

ZADAR

Enjoy breakfast at leisure in this 5* luxury wellness hotel. You will be driven by private transfer to the city centre and the private guide will take you around this beautiful historic city (Sea Organ, The Forum, Kalelarga Street, St. Donatus Church, Saint Anastasia’s Cathedral, the city walls and gates). Return to the hotel and Relax in 6.000 sq. large Acquapura Spa with specially created sauna infusions & steam bath rituals, based on natural ingredients from the sea. ZADAR - MALI LOŠINJ

Enjoy breakfast at leisure and depart to Zadar Airport where our private plane (King Air or Cessna) and crew will be waiting to fly you to Lošinj Airport with an estimated flight time of 20 minutes. On landing at Lošinj Airport a driver will take you to the hotel Bellevue. In the afternoon, guided walking city tour of Mali Lošinj. Positioned in the Augusta Bay, and with 7000 inhabitants, today it is the biggest island town in the Adriatic. Lošinj, which had been almost uninhabited until the middle of the 13th century, developed into a leading regional maritime power by the 19th century. The town of Lošinj became the second most important port in the Adriatic, immediately after Trieste. The inhabitants of Lošinj were not only known for their skilfulness in constructing sailing ships but they were also known as the best seamen in the Mediterranean. Due to its excellent climate and natural healing factors, its potential was recognised already in the late 19th century and Mali Lošinj was proclaimed climatic health resort in 1892 by the land law of the Austrian Government. Enjoy Čikat Forest Park walk, beautiful healthy atmosphere and sunset over the sea. Enjoy inspirational Croatian cuisine at the hotel restaurant overlooking clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea.

MALI LOŠINJ

Enjoy breakfast at leisure after which we have arranged for you to enjoy a day in nature. Together with our guide you will have an opportunity to explore the real island of Lošinj and well-known footpath Dolphin way. Why Dolphin way – if you are lucky, here you will have the greatest chance of seeing a playful group of dolphins. Our trekking tour begins at bay Čikat and passes from bay Borik to bay Krivica. After hour and half we reach one of the most beautiful Lošinj’s bay Krivica. Our tour continues towards Balvanida bay where refreshments are planned in a local tavern. House speciality is grilled lamb. We continue our way to St. Ivan Hill (231 m) with a chapel built in 1755. Enjoy the breath-taking view towards the town of Veli Lošinj and the surrounding islands. We hike downhill to the town of Veli Lošinj and after resting, you will have an organised transportation by car. We also will visit the Garden of fine scents in Mali Lošinj, a garden of herbs and medicinal plants. You will be acquainted with the herbs and healing properties of the rich islands flora. Return to the hotel. Dinner at an a la carte restaurant.

MALI LOŠINJ - ROVINJ

Breakfast. Today our journey continues to Rovinj. Today our trip starts from Mali Lošinj to the old town of Osor. Osor lies at a narrow channel that separates islands Cres and Lošinj. Today Osor is a small town with only 70 inhabitants, but with glorious past. It is an open-air museum with rich historical heritage, from the contemporary Meštrović to the ruins of the ancient walls, fort and the first early Christian basilica. Together with private guide you will visit The Archaeological Collection Osor – Museum of Lošinj. Our next stop will be the small city Lubenice on the Island of Cres. Lubenice is an ancient fort city that was founded approximately four thousand years ago on top of a 380m high ridge that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. It is a small local centre that comprises forty buildings and seven permanent inhabitants. Buildings in the city are constructed out of the same material as the surrounding cliffs and there are two well-preserved extant city gates on the North and South of the city as well a wall in the East. Enjoy typical Croatian lunch at the Hibernica restaurant. Our tour continues to port Porozine. Ferry line to Brestova (duration 20 minutes) and continuing to Rovinj.  A driver will take you to the rewarded hotel Monte Mulini. Dinner at an a la carte restaurant

ROVINJ

Enjoy breakfast at leisure after which we have arranged for you to enjoy Rovinj sightseeing, one of the most charming towns in the Adriatic. A private guide will present you all magical beauties of Rovinj, especially its old romantic town. In Old Town there is a lot of local artist and galleries. Free afternoon in Spa centre. Enjoy a private dinner at an a la carte restaurant in Old City or at your hotel.

ROVINJ - ZAGREB

Breakfast. This memorable trip slightly comes to the end. On our way to Zagreb we will visit a wine cellar Matošević. We take you for a tour of cellars with guided wine tastings. After wine tasting, transfer to Zagreb, to the hotel Esplanade. Farewell dinner at the Carpaccio restaurant.
